bassike is Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan (both ex-Ksubi). bassike offers Australian-made men and women's basics in the latest shapes, fabrics & colours, filling a gap in the market for luxury basics in interesting cuts and superior materials.
"We felt that there were a lot of high-end labels doing very well, but not a lot of good basics brands that were produced locally and could sit alongside other well known brands in boutiques" says Deborah.
The bassike aesthetic is fresh, clean & modern. Only the softest, finest organic cottons are used, making the pieces beautiful to wear. Their decision to use organic fibre is part of the push towards ecologically sustainable clothing |
