LIFEwithBIRD has forged a name for itself with radically contemporary and intellectual design. This label represents the creative expression of designer's Nicholas Van Messner and Bridget McCall. A stolen kiss brought the pair together and with separate ambitions to create a label, it was fate that LIFEwithBIRD evolved as a collaboration.
LIFEwithBIRD is a story of two people with a a desire to deliver their unique aesthetic and style through many forms. Accessories became the first medium by which to tell their story. Chapter one might aptly be called, 'Process' as their evolution blurs the distinction between art object and design, high-function and high fashion and the adaptive nature of re-working items to give them new meaning.
'Process is the process.....and with it came the cutting of cloth and the next chapter of LIFEwithBIRD.'
LIFEwithBIRD clothing incorporates form and the beauty of function into each design. As each range evolves, it is the intention to provoke a new and exciting aesthetic sense.
