Two years on from her first collection and Melbourne-based designer Ebony Eagles' label Ebony Eve is highly sought and poised for international expansion. Launching the label whilst just 22, Ebony's ultra feminine feel may come as a surprise to those who shared Ebony’s formative fashion years growing up in Byron Bay. Her taste was considered eclectic even in the anything goes environment of the Northern New South Wales hippy Mecca. An op-shop addict and a keen seamstress since the age of eight, Ebony’s wardrobe consisted almost entirely of second hand clothing altered to fit the style she describes as ‘interesting’. "Fashion to me is about the feeling you get when you are wearing something you feel beautiful in."
